Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Administrator to join their team for 3 months in the Marlborough Region. The ideal candidate should have a passion in relationship building, and great understanding of administrative procedures and processes.

You will be working within a government organisation, where you will be based in the Blenheim office, but will be required to travel to the Nelson office occasionally as you will also oversee this office and provide administrative support. You will be managing two other administrative staff who have their own responsibilities and areas they look after.

Responsibilities:
• Provide administrative support to the team and senior management
• Manage and supervise staff, delegating tasks and ensuring team performance
• Maintain relationships with key stakeholders
• Oversee all records management, transactions and reporting related to the office
• Build and maintain a supportive working environment
• Ensure all key correspondence is... responded to and action within deadlines
Requirements:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word
• A clean driving licence and willingness to travel as needed
• Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and manage time effectively
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Experience in a Senior Administrative position with other staff reporting directly to you
