This is a contract position for a Specialized IT Consultant for our client who is in the Broader Public Sector. Work location will be in the Greater Toronto Area.

This is an onsite role with the candidate expected to be at the job location every day of work.

The Contract runs for one year.

Hours per day will be 7.25

Responsibilities
Works in partnership with clients, advising them how to use information management (IM) and/or information technology in order to meet their business objectives or overcome problems, work to improve the structure and efficiency of an organization's I&IT Systems. The Specialized I&IT Consultant may be used to provide strategic guidance to organizations with regard to IM and Task-based IT technology, IT infrastructures and the enablement of major business processes through enhancements to IT. they can also be used to provide subject matter expertise... during the procurement as well as providing highly expert technical assistance.

The resource is to provide information technology support to the existing CATS application as directed by the Client, including the analysis of requirements, development, maintenance and security improvement, systems documentation and creation of reporting functionality using SQL Server with ASPX or similar other reporting types. The resource will provide technical support and maintenance of the CATS application as requested by the Client. This will include:

Resolution of CATS technical and application issues;
Development of new procedures or required changes to existing procedures;
Software deployment to end-user must meet desktop certification requirements;
Creation and/or assistance in creating reports using SQL Server with ASPX or other reporting types when required;

Deliverables may include but are not limited to the following:
Fully tested, deployed code to development, test and production environments;
Updated Design Specification.
Installation package including:
1. Source Code Executables
2. End-user desktop deployment package
3. Release Notes
4. Installation instructions (Migration Document)
Tracking of issues, notifying ministry of problems or concerns and resolving issues in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract; and providing status reports and MBPM information updates.

The Client will use a Work Request Package for each task, which will be provided to the Vendor, identifying the required technical support for the CATS application system.

Qualifications
15+ years Experience in programming and analysis at Level 3 with OpenText (Metastorm) MBPM 9.5, 9.6
