In this role, you will:

Provide oversight and support of issues in conjunction with front line Issue Management partners, with a focus on high visibility and complex issues.

Responsible for the interpretation and adherence to the corporate Issue Management policy and procedures and responsible for the entire lifecycle of a portfolio of issues which have resulted due to potential risk exposure or control breakdown.

Engage and collaborate with applicable partners to develop and implement solutions and ensure successful execution to resolve concern.

Influence in a matrixed environment and partner with day-to-day business and dedicated resources to ensure implementation success and the realization of target benefits and risk mitigation.

Partner with Senior Leadership and to ensure commitments are met and proper updates are occurring as requested.

Support the Line of Business in partnering with front line including Control and second line in preparation and facilitation of internal reviews and audits to include process walkthroughs, gathering artifacts, preparing presentation materials.

Perform assessments through fact finding and data requiring creative approaches to solving complex issues and develop appropriate solutions or recommendations.

Provide recommendations to drive decisions in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of business group's functional area or products, facilitate decision making and issue resolution, and support implementation of developed solutions and plans.

Review strategic approaches and effectiveness of support function and business performance.

Support leadership in providing support to team in meeting timelines, obtaining information, providing recommendations to the Line of Business for solutions.

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

Ability to represent the company/business units to internal partners, auditors, and senior leadership.

Experience working with internal auditors.

Knowledge and understanding of complex regulatory/compliance issues and potential solutions.

Experience leading issue management requirements throughout the lifecycle on complex issues.

Ability to track and monitor progress, identify corrective action and process gaps, recommend controls and communicate progress to business leaders.

Advanced knowledge of Issue Management policy

Experience working with the Shared Risk Platform (SHRP)

Exposure to Wells Fargo RCSA (Risk and Control Self-Assessment)

Experience with compliance of corporate policies to include Self-Assurance Activities and Customer Remediation

Experience partnering with Independent Risk Management and Internal Audit teams.

Knowledge and understanding of banking: regulations, compliance, policies, process, and procedures.

Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members.

Ability to influence, partner, and negotiate with senior business leaders to gain commitment to accomplish business goals.

Ability to facilitate and lead meetings to reach conclusions, identify tasks, record actions, and achieve results.

Ability to articulate issues, risks, and proposed solutions to various levels of staff and management.

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint skills

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment.

Strong analytical skills with ability to turn findings into executable plans to meet business objectives.
