Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
As an experienced Executive Assistant, you will deliver effective and efficient coordination for the Sector Operations Group and actively collaborate and engage with colleagues both internally and externally. You'll also provide high quality, timely, one-to-one executive support to the Group Manager, including dealing with matters of a highly confidential and sensitive nature.
This permanent role is based in Wellington... to work closely with the Group Manager, we offer a hybrid working model as agreed by both parties.
Mōu | About you
You'll bring your knowledge and experience of working for a medium to large complex organisation, Ministry or other government agency, to provide support to the Group Manager based in Wellington.
In order to succeed in this role, you'll need to bring your advanced skills in MS Office Suite, strong communication skills, both written and oral, and ideally previous experience with OIA's and Parliamentary Questions.

Previous experience in an Executive Assistant role providing support to a group manager and their team
Delivers clear messages and makes decisions in a timely manner; to advance the longer-term best interests of the people we care for
Strong organisational skills along with the ability to think ahead, use initiative, establish priorities and meet deadlines whilst preserving the highest levels of accuracy and confidentiality
Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills and the capacity to manage relationships at all levels, including with senior officials and with health sector leaders.
