This Challenge brings together an interdisciplinary research programme focused on developing the framework for ecosystem-based management of New Zealand's marine environment. http://sustainableseaschallenge.co.nz/What we're looking for:The role of Personal Assistant to the Director and administrative support for the Sustainable Seas National Science Challenge Management Team is key to the effective management of the Sustainable Seas National Science Challenge. National Science Challenges are fast paced and multi-faceted, so the administrator needs to think fast, respond to tight... deadlines and be comfortable working in a busy environment. An ability to work in a close collaborative manner with the management team is essential. You will provide administrative support including, minute taking, meeting and event management, editing and preparation of documents, maintenance of Sharepoint site and organisation of travel.Based at NIWA's Wellington office, you will be working alongside a wide range of researchers and the Challenge Management team and Director. NIWA is New Zealand's leading provider of freshwater, marine and atmospheric research and applied science services to public and private sector customers.
