Position: Operations Manager ( Electrical Engineer)
Instant Recruitment Solutions is currently sourcing an 'Operations Manager for a Manufacturing Plant' in Edmonton .

Responsibilities:

Plan, direct, and coordinate team activities to fulfill sales commitments and deliver high quality manufactured products in a cost-effective fashion Work closely with the President and management team Collaborate with Management to implement an annual budgeting plan for operational departments Develop, monitor and evaluate the team structure, processes, systems, information flow, reporting, KPIs, facility layout, etc. to maximize efficiencies; and facilitate continuous improvement Coach and develop team leaders;

oversee training of new and existing staff; plan, assign, direct and evaluate work Promote and ensure that all staff follow company policies including Health & Safety Ensure efficient operation and maintenance of the facility and equipment

Qualifications:

Professional certification or... diploma in Operations or Production Management Electrical Technology or related field , Diploma or Certification 5 years of progressive operations management and leadership experience of Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Quality teams Proven ability to develop teams and hold oneself and one's direct reports accountable for results Proven experience with directly developing and managing QMS and Client programs Proven experience with directly developing project plans and successfully managing projects Demonstrable knowledge of, and prior experience with, custom electrical/mechanical product manufacturing, process improvement methods (i.e. Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, etc.),
