Position: Enterprise Architect (f/m/d) – Siemens Advanta Solutions

• In your new role you are a visionary and technical lead on projects and liaise with business managers (internal and external)

• By doing so, you impact assessments, dependency management, risk and issues management

• Furthermore, you define the transition approach from older to new architectures and develop a portfolio roadmap

• Convincing and/or influencing the customer of our Siemens Advanta vision and solutions is also part of your task area

• You manage stakeholder expectations on the requirement and ensure customer satisfaction

• Working in partnership with Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architects and Domain Architects to ensure the successful delivery of customer-centric outcomes is also part of your responsibility

• In addition, you support the delivery function by bringing business experience and understanding to the solution

• Moreover, you review the results of the Analyse and Design phase... (functional design, technical design, test strategy,

-approach and
-plan, deployment concept, etc)

• Commercial management of third-party vendors and suppliers rounds off your task profile

• You are the central contact person towards the customer on Enterprise level

What you need to make real what matters
• The basis of your success is an Engineering degree, ideally in a relevant subject such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering is an asset but no hard requirement
• You have demonstratable experience in Solution and Infrastructure technologies
• You bring full Product / Software Development Life cycle experience, including definition, requirements gathering, configuration and delivery
• You have a good understanding & experience on SaaS, IaaS and PaaS
• A consultant and commercial mindset characterizes you
• Having a strong acumen to fit portfolio/solutions to customer problems are a matter of course for you
• You bring full life-cycle application experience which is coupled with a strong understanding of the inherent business challenges and process management
• Knowledge of/certifications in TOGAF, AWS Cloud Infrastructure and Azure Infrastructure and Technologies are assets
• Several years of experience as an IT architect in digital manufacturing, preferably at the interfaces of PLM, ERP, MES or (I)
IoT are required
• Excellent knowledge of current technologies in the Industry 4.0 environment set you apart
• Ideally, you bring know-how about engineering and manufacturing processes as well as architecture
• We are happy to rely on your broad knowledge of common hyperscalers and on-premise software providers
• A result-oriented and structured way of working characterize you
• You bring creativity, openness to new perspectives and a good portion of empathy
• You have a willingness to travel and speak business fluent German and English
