Job Description The incumbent is to provide services to the Division of Radiological Sciences and related departments in the area of medical (radiological) physics. The job scope includes:

Quality control and maintenance of imaging equipment
1. Manage the implementation of Division’s QA Program including the daily Quality Control checks.
2. Work with BME to oversee the maintenance of all imaging equipment.
3. Use various QA test tools to ascertain equipment fault as first line check.

Management of staff radiation dose
1. Assist in the dose management of staff for radiation safety.
2. Investigate on the cause of any unexpectedly high dose report from NEA.

Training and lectures on radiation safety and Physics of radiation
1. Training of new staff on the safe and proper use of radiation protection devices.
2. Conduct courses with lectures on radiation physics and radiation protection for trainee radiologists and other healthcare workers.
