Posizione Position A renowned international Group in the Industrial Automation market is looking for a TECHNICAL PRE-SALES ENGINEER to join its sales departments, based in Emilia-Romagna and in Piedmont. As a global player, the Group has a worldwide presence and supplies its customers all around the globe. The Technical Pre-Sales engineer reports... directly to the Sales Directors. Main Activities : · Working closely with the sales team to understand customers needs · Analysis of commercial opportunities, technical advice, and pre-sales recommendations · Definition of the project specifications, based on the data formalized by the customer or desired process performance parameters · Design of plant layouts · Prediction of potential problems with proposed solutions · Technical support to the customers · Drafting of written offers and offer budgeting · Conducting visits to customers with the commercial team for presentations and the definition if technical requirements/needs. Additional Activities : The candidate must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong technical background and experience within companies leader in the supply of advanced technologies for industries such as ceramics, metals, packaging, food and beverage. The ability to work both independently and as part of a team is essential. A background in sales engineering or a related field is preferred. The candidate should prove their ability to effectively influence customer decisions and displace competition. Requisiti Degree: Mechanical Engineering (or similar) and/or diploma in Mechanical Engineering. Years of experience in the role: 3+ years relevant experience in the role. Languages: Must be fluent in Italian and English for regular interactions with the customers and colleagues. Spanish is considered a plus IT: Knowledge of 2D and 3D drawing programs BricsCAD - Autocad. Strong understanding of the most common Office software and reporting tools (e.g. Excel). Attitude and soft skills: We are looking for a person who has the ability to identify and resolve partners (colleagues, customers and suppliers) issues. Excellent interpersonal skills are required, combined with the ability to provide performance-driven leadership to a medium size organization. Also, they have a sense of opportunity, negotiation, compromise and discipline. Pay grade and salary: They will be commensurate with the actual competence and experience level of the candidate. The contract will be signed under the conditions of the collective labour agreement CCNL- Metalmeccanico Industria. Working place: The company headquarter is in Piedmont and the Sales Dep. are in Piedmont and Emilia-Romagna. Candidates' residence is irrelevant, as long as they are available to travel worldwide.
