The Sales and Marketing Team represents SMA Altenso externally and advises our customers in the three core areas of large-scale battery storage, hydrogen and off-grid or hybrid applications. The proposal preparation of our holistic solution concepts takes place in close coordination with the experts of our engineering team. You will be based in Australia and the position will be hosted by our Australian subsidiary .

Your contribution to the "big picture"
• You proactively develop the P2G/hydrogen market with focus on Australia and New Zealand potentially expanding to the Asia/Pacific region in the future
• You approach new customers (Electrolyzer/Fuel Cell Companies, End Customers, EPC Contractors, Project Developers) in the Hydrogen Power to Gas sector
• You engage with grid operators and utilities and consult them on technical feasibility of interconnecting large electrolyzer plants to the Australian grid
• You participate and represent the SMA group in hydrogen trade shows and... conferences
• You are a key interface between the local subsidiary SMA Australia Pty. Ltd. and the Power to Gas Team of SMA Altenso in Germany.
• Together with the team, you translate (local) customer demands and grid requirements into product/solution specifications

Your skills are needed
• You have a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Chemical Engineering, Energy Management, Renewable Energy or similar
• You have a very good technical understanding of grid integration and P2G applications
• You have high sales attitude and excellent communication and presentation skills
• You have at least 5 years of professional experience in application engineering or technical sales
• You have a high willingness to travel
• You speak English fluently; additional language skills would be a plus
