WHAT YOU WILL DOThis position is primarily responsible for managing three specific objectives:

Reading specifications and preparing budgets, quotations, and completing the technical support documentation for sales and for order acceptance and engineering review meetings.
Assisting sales managers with customer meetings and contact as needed to ensure the customers' objectives are understood.

Using and updating software tools that will enable the sales team members to efficiently create CNG/RNG proposals that are accurate and thorough in scope of supply and cost estimates.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sales Engineer is responsible for preparing accurate budgets, quotations, and completing the technical support documentation for quotations on a schedule as directed by customers' needsThis position is responsible for the development and use of a set of software tools (Word, Excel, etc.) to improve the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of Quotations, Orders, and Order ChangesThe Sales Engineer will complete the technical definition of any open order in the CNG/RNG business's backlog ASAP and the release of this information to Engineering and Operations.

The Sales Engineer will make recommendations to the CNG/RNG business to assist in defining what permanent resources are required to improve the accuracy and efficiency of preparing quotations, defining of scope of supply for each sold order, and managing after-the-sale changes from customers.

The Sales Engineer will run site simulations for customer requests for proposals and determine standard configurations to offer and specialized offerings as needed.
WHO YOU AREA bachelor's degree in engineering, marketing, business administration, or related field.
Experience in sales and the technology field.
Strong communication, interpersonal, customer service, and sales skills.
The ability to relate technical information to non-technical customers.
Excellent technical and problem-solving skills.
Good leadership and team working skills.
Willingness to continue your sales and engineering education.
