Job Details

Regional Sales Engineer, will execute and take the ownership of sales and marketing strategy for MODP (Motion Business Drive Product), growth focused role with in Motion Business Area in New York State. Responsible for demand generation encompassing MODP portfolio in addition to channels such as OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturer), End Users, EPCs (Electronic Product Code) and any deemed intermediaries

Sales incentive included on top of base salary

Your responsibilities
• The ability to discover value and align with product capabilities to sell on value rather than price
• Effectively prepare and present business cases to business leadership to support necessary pricing levels
• Deploy discipline sales process to understand account performance including annual budget by account/ monthly order rate/ gap to budget/time to quote/hit rate/key opportunities/customer key drivers to decision/key decision makers
• Own CRM (Customer Relationship Management) accuracy with timely updated information via CRM
• Own monthly MODP forecast for assigned territory
• Work with strategic segment leads and BDMs to support sales qualification process at key opportunities or targeted accounts
• Support engagement of internal resources such as R&D and Product Management
• Execute individual "Account Plan" and "Channel Plan", able to make calls on channel partners behalf to support the partner
Your background
• Bachelor Degree in Engineering and 8 years of relevant experience within a complex business environment selling products or solutions required
• Travel up to 75% with some overnight travel in territory (New York state and northern Pennsylvania) required
• Experience with a CRM similar to Salesforce required
• Sales and application background in Low Voltage Drives in the Industrial space highly preferred
• Product and market knowledge in Drives and industrial automation systems and services highly preferred
• Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work in the US
