Medical Secretary – Breast Service Southland Hospital Permanent, full-time (1.0FTE) opportunity Are you looking for a new challenge? We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Medical Secretary to join our friendly team in Southland Hospital on a full-time permanent basis.
Mo te turanga | About the role The key purpose is to effectively contribute to the smooth running of the service by providing an efficient and timely administrative support function that is responsive and flexible to the changing needs of the service.
This role is in a high-volume, fast-paced service and includes the booking and managing of patients, clinicians, theatre lists, liaising with our partners and much more.
You need to be an organised, unflappable person who is good with the public and able to solve problems quickly.

Your... background will be in varied administration positions that demonstrate your ability to provide high quality administration services within a busy office setting.

A flexible approach with the ability to successfully prioritise your workload Accuracy and attention to detail are essential Touch typist Excellent computer skills:
proven experience in use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook with the ability to learn other job specific programmes.
