SEND Primary Teacher - September 2023. PTS, One Year Cover (Potential of permanent).

The school is currently seeking a primary special educational needs teacher with a passion for working with young people with SEND. The role is to cover a maternity leave starting in September 2023, and has the potential to lead to a permanent position for the right candidate. Although experience is desired, it is not essential if the applicant has a keen interest in SEND and holds QTS.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a school with exceptional resources for SEN and a team of highly skilled staff. They will receive support from an experienced senior leadership team to provide the highest level of support to young learners.

The class is a mixed KS1 and KS2 class, with a maximum of fifteen children, and at least four members of support staff per class. Every young person will have a learning difficulty or disability. This is a full-time, term-time only role, paid to scale... as the candidate takes on the responsibilities of the class teacher for the academic year.
