Duties and Responsibilities
• Responsible for Corporate / Government and Travel Agent Room and Banquet Sales for the hotel
• Clear understanding of the hotel’s business strategies then set goals and to determine action plans to meet those goals
• Update action plans and financial objectives quarterly
• Identify new markets and business opportunities and increase sales
• Represent hotels in various events and exhibitions
• Implements all sales action plans related to market areas so outlined in the sales & marketing plan
• Conducts daily sales calls and arrange site inspection trips to hotel by corporate clients
• Able to provide quick and timely responses, immediate communication to all departments, develop professional long term business relationship
• Provide the highest quality of service to the customer at all times
• Executes and supports the operational aspects of business booked like generating proposal, Corporate Rate Application Letter, preparing contract, customer... correspondence
• Able to support hotel service and relationship strategy, driving customer loyalty by delivering service excellence throughout each customer experience
• Attend all department and hotel’s meetings as necessary
• Targeting key accounts potential for the company
• Builds and strengthens relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings (Activities include sales calls, entertainment, FAM trips, trade shows, B2Bs, etc.)
• Develops relationships within community to strengthen and expand customer base for sale opportunities
• Acquiring and developing new business accounts and preparing sales proposal letters for clients
• Closely following up on all business leads within a 24-hour response timeline to clients
• Other duties assigned by Director of Sales/Sales Manager or the Management.

Qualifications
• Graduate of any relevant course
• With 2-3 years of solid experience in the same field and industry
• With strong connection with local corporate and government accounts
• With driver’s license is preferred but not required
• Willing to travel to other The Oriental properties if may deemed necessary
