Boeing Space, Intelligence & Weapons Systems Organization is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Lead, Senior, and Expert Space Power Electronics Engineers to join us as part of our Space Electronics team located in El Segundo, CA.

As a member of Boeing's Space Electronics division, you will be responsible for overseeing and performing the design, analysis, and testing of space digital, analog, and Power electronics (not including RF Space Electronics).

Position Responsibilities
• Analyzing customer and system needs for electronic products
• Creating plans and designs for the product, making sure they meet the requirements
• Checking the product to ensure that it works properly, with special focus on Power Supply and Analog Circuit Design
• Keeping track of the progress and making sure everything is going according to plan
• Working with other engineers to make sure the product is made correctly
• Planning research projects to create new product designs that meet future needs
• Mentoring less experienced engineers to help them improve their skills and knowledge.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in El Segundo. This worksite participates in Boeings optional 9/80 schedule rotation. 9/80 is a rotation in which employees can work 9 hour shifts, 8 days per pay period (bi-weekly) and receive every other Friday off.
Travel may be required up to 10% of the time; Domestically and/or Internationally depending on business needs.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering (STEM and other Technical Degrees considered)
• Level 1:
0- 2 years of experience with Analog, Digital and/or Power Electronics
• Level 2:
1+ years of experience with Analog, Digital and/or Power Electronics
• Level 3:
3+ years of experience with Analog, Digital and/or Power Electronics
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
• Experience with power conditioning electronics, control system design and theory
• Experience with circuit design and analysis with focus on power supply and analog design
• Experience with and/or Knowledge of Electronics Test Methodology
• Experience with and/or Knowledge of Computer Design and Real Time Programming Languages (C, VHDL, C and other hardware oriented languages)
• Firmware, Microprocessor or other Hardware oriented experience can be helpful (Not software)
Typical Education/Experience

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
P2
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g.
Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g.
Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

$71,000 - $127,000

$87,000 - $154,000
