Axcis Education are seeking teaching assistants who are available on a full- time basis, working Monday to Friday from 8:30 to 3:30. For this role you must be a driver and willing to get business insurance as the students need to attend outreach programmes, hospital appointments and internship schemes.

Your day to day will be working 1-1 with students at secondary age, in a classroom with the main teacher in office blocks rather than a school. All the pupils attending the class have been referred by the council either being school leavers or coming from traumatic backgrounds such as care or foster settings. The pupils have ECHP (education care and health plans) which you and the teacher will work with to support their development. As a teaching assistant you need to be resilient, nurturing, and consistent!
