You will join our Pipeline department within the Energy Transition Division
You will be part of a department with many interesting projects such as traditional gas infrastructure pipelines and facilities, as well as the green transition, with a growing portfolio of Hydrogen and CO2 pipelines, as well as submarine cables to offshore wind farms. We perform the design work for the pipelines and cables in the department, and cover all phases of the projects, from Feasibility to FEED to Detailed design, as well as site supervision, so you will be able to see the result of your work directly applied in construction onshore and offshore. As an example, we have performed design work for both the offshore and onshore pipelines on the Baltic pipe project and are currently assisting with supervision during construction works.
Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:
• Pipeline engineering and project engineering management.
• Natural gas, H2 and CO2 pipeline design.
• Pipeline Cost Estimating.
• Project Report writing and presentations
• It would be a benefit if the applicant has interest in and can document good skills in FE modelling. We work in ANSYS, SIMLA, Orcaflex, MATLAB and other specialized programs/applications developed in-house or acquired commercially.
Required qualifications

• Master’s Degree in structural engineering, mechanical engineering or equivalent
• Documented good understanding of pipeline design.
• Pipeline design skills and FEA modelling experience.
• Confidence in own ability in relevant problem solving.
• Knowledge of pipeline materials and corrosion mechanisms.
• Have good communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to focus on solutions and have some degree of self-motivation to reach the target
