Management Accountant - Shrewsbury, £35,000 - £40,000

We are seeking to appoint a fully qualified Management Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA), reporting directly to the Financial Controller you will be responsible for:
• The production of the consolidated management accounts three times a year
• Assistant the Financial Controller with reporting to budget holders and providing financial support/advice where applicable.
• Preparing, producing and distributing monthly key performance indicators
• The reconciliation of key balance sheet items
• Providing support on a daily basis with the coding and posting of invoices and receipts.
• Managing the Electronic Point of Sale (EPOS) system
• Supporting the Bursar with the School’s 10-year plan

This is a fantastic opportunity for a self-motivated, flexible, hands-on Management Accountant with excellent communication skills who has the proven ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders. You will be technically strong, possess good... commercial insight and analytical skills and be able to work well under pressure.

You will have a broad range of IT skills including Excel to a high standard and the ability to capture information and produce high quality management reports. A well organised and flexible approach is essential, and knowledge of Sage would be advantageous.
