Imperial College London Faculty of Medicine is seeking a Head of Programmes Management to join the Faculty Education Office, to support and enable the delivery of the undergraduate programmes in the School of Medicine.

In this senior leadership role, you will lead and oversee the work of the four teams ensuring they work cohesively and effectively to provide a high-quality, consistent, responsive, proactive, and professional service... You will liaise with student leaders, particularly the Imperial College School of Medicine Student Union President and other officers, and interface with external partners such as the NHS across Northwest London.

You should be an excellent communicator and able to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders, including students, academic staff, and external partners. Duties and responsibilities

As Head of Programmes Management, you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day administration of the School of Medicine’s programmes. You will lead, manage, and develop the four diverse teams that comprise the Programmes Section in the Faculty Education office. You will work closely with academic, teaching, and professional services colleagues in operationalising the School’s strategic ambitions and undergraduate curriculums to ensure a high-quality experience for students.

Essential requirements
• be an experienced and successful manager, with proven track record of leading a diverse team in a busy and evolving environment.
• have an up-to-date understanding of the trends and challenges in education across the sector as relevant to the School of Medicine.
• be able to quickly build, develop and maintain strong working relationships with a variety of internal and external partners.
• Experience of working in a management role with the Higher Education Sector

This is a Full Time and Open-ended role. The post holder will be located primarily at the Charing Cross campus, however as the Programmes Section also has a notable presence on the South Kensington and Hammersmith campuses regular travel to these will be necessary.
