We are looking for a Global Leadership Development Program Manager who is passionate about building innovative and cutting-edge programs to help develop a strong and diverse bench of leaders at North Highland. The Global Leadership Development Program Manager will design, deliver, implement, and evaluate leadership development programs, processes, and initiatives across all levels—from individual contributor to executive. We are looking for someone who is self-driven and excels at translating organizational strategies into actions that help drive results across the organization. The ability to effectively communicate and influence senior leaders to gain alignment is key to the role. This individual will help build strategic development goals as well as roll up their sleeves and make things happen. The Global Leadership Development Program Manager will report to the Director of Talent Development
YOU WILL: Manage all facets of North Highland’s global leadership development programs to support future leaders, current leaders and people managers. This includes:
+ analysis, content design and delivery
+ evaluation and measurement of ongoing learning curriculum and related training materials
+ program expense and budget management
+ selection and management of vendors to ensure effective content design and delivery
+ reporting and tracking systems + Design and facilitate multi-level leadership development programs that employ a variety of delivery platforms (e-learning, instructor led training, social learning, virtual delivery, and performance support)
+ Design programs that are inclusive of, and support the diversity initiatives at all levels of firm
+ Develop coaching expertise in support of a coaching culture
+ Collaborate with all parts of the organization e.g. Human Resource Business Partners (HRBPs), Performance Management to lead ongoing and new initiatives that focus on aligning to the North Highland culture and developmental needs of leaders for current and future needs.
+ Evaluate and measure leadership development. Applies feedback to the learning process to ensure alignment to the needs of internal clients and regularly seek out recommendations for ongoing improvement.
• Manage all aspects of program development around specific firm initiatives and designs appropriate solutions
• Identify emerging leadership development trends that may be beneficial to the firm, performing research and making recommendations as appropriate.
• Possess a high level of business acumen and interacts effectively with senior leaders. Builds trust with executives and emerging leaders through superior communication, strategy, and analytical skills.
• Consult regularly with HRBPs, the Performance Management team and stakeholders to manage and align leadership curriculum and vendors.
• Track current learning trends and needs through internal/external networks and media – identifying opportunities to add value.
• Use previous experiences to challenge the status quo and raise the performance of individuals at the firm.
• Act as the positive face of Talent Development at a global level as well as needed support at a local level.
Consult regularly with Talent Development team and stakeholders to manage and align leadership and general skills curricula and vendors. * Ability to apply adult learning theory to classroom facilitation, eLearning and blended learning programs.
• Ability to facilitate workshops that guide participants toward achieving the desired learning outcomes.
• Ability to identify and define issues, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions in verbal, written, visual, or multimedia form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
• Ability to evaluate priorities and execute tasks accordingly in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work autonomously, within teams and as a liaison to internal and external clients.
• Demonstrate effective communication, active listening, internal consulting, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
• Knowledge of training and organizational development theory and practice.
• Experience working with learning technologies/learning management systems. Cornerstone preferred.
• Experience with eLearning development tools such as Camtasia, Captivate and Articulate preferred.
• University degree or equivalent certifications
• 5+ years of leadership development experience working in a global learning environment
• Proven ability to:
+ collaborate with, coach, and influence senior leaders.
+ coach, mentor, counsel, and review performance of colleagues to optimize individual performance/develop learning needs.
+ work efficiently, effectively, and pro-actively in a fast paced, deadline orientated, dynamic and virtual environment.
+ work in a cross-functional team environment, collaborating on key deliverables specifically in support of training.
