The direct Real Estate team in Australia is responsible for the origination, acquisition, asset management and disposition of Real Estate assets in Australia, which are to be acquired by a wide... range of funds and clients of the DWS platform. The Sydney-based team works on diverse tasks across various Real Estate asset classes such as office, shopping centres, logistics, hotels, student accommodations and residential schemes.

Your key responsibilities:
• Reporting to the Head of Real Estate - Australia, your key responsibilities will include:
• Assisting acquisition initiatives across a range of sectors and markets, including sourcing and origination, underwriting & analysis, market research, due diligence, preparation of
• investment committee papers, negotiation and deal execution
• You will also support both transaction deals and asset management role which include looking at all asset class within the team
• Assisting on internal reporting, debt capital and stakeholder management initiatives
• In addition, you will be involve with capital raising initiatives and special project initiatives (i.e. asset management analysis, asset tours, marketing assignments, research pieces etc.)
• Focus market region will be Australia & NZ

Your skills and experience:
• A bachelor’s degree in real estate, commerce, law, economics, engineering or architecture
• Circa 3+ years of relevant industry experience
• Strong commercial acumen & attention to detail
• You should be strong with Microsoft Excel / analytical skills (including excel financial modelling) and a high level of numeracy
• Proficiency in English both written and verbal communication
