Responsibilities Ensuring timely completion and adherence to Preventive maintenance plans
Engage in the operation of facilities management
Manage and Maintain facility assets
Participate in forward planning of site operations (resourcing, contractor scheduling etc.)Oversee maintenance services using CMMS platform.
Identify minor repairs works to drive run rate Budget and Financial Management Third Party Contract Management
OH&S risk assessment
Supervision of the planning and monitoring of preventive and corrective maintenance schedules, as well as renovation and expansion projects
Lead and guide direct reports
Lead Health, Safety and Environment compliance.
Resolve Problems Support cost and inventory reduction targets
Plan facilities repairs and upgrades
Develop Talent YOU MUST HAVEPost-Secondary education or Bachelor's degree
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Facilities Management and/or Building Maintenance including supervision of trades resources
Minimum of 3 years... of experience in emergency maintenance
Immunization (including COVID-19 vaccination) as required by the customer and in accordance with the Public Health ActWE VALUEUnderstanding of legislative requirements (eg. Canadian Standards Association, Technical Standards and Safety Authority, Electrical Safety Authority, Ontario Building Code, Ontario Fire Marshal, Ministry of Labor, Ontario Accessibility Act)
Some experience in healthcare facility management
Some experience in a leadership role
Ability to motivate team members and drive results
Ability to lead/drive change, and influence others
Direct experience in managing trades staff in a unionized environment#LI-Hybrid
