K3177a - New Leaf Search has partnered with a rapidly growing Vendor Finance provider in their search for a Senior Credit Officer - UK, London. You will participate and contribute to the underwriting, credit analysis and risk management activities originating group relationships, including other vendor programs in the UK and Europe. You will be part of a European based credit team with opportunities to train and multi-skill across other geographies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Analyse, review and underwrite within delegated mandate, all vendor credit applications whilst delivering an outstanding customer experience.
• Prepare credit applications for review and approval.
• Find workable solutions to closing new business opportunities.
• Work closely with colleagues across the business – Sales, Collections, Asset Management and Operations.
• Identify ways in which credit processes can be improved to... deliver efficiencies and implement changes.
• Assist sales and deal negotiations by undertaking site visits to vendors and customers.
• Maintain an interest in the wider economic environment and changes in market/asset sectors in the UK & Europe.
• Have a good understanding of AML and compliance requirements in the UK.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:
• Your will have credit experience in mid-ticket hard assets.
• Credit Underwriting experience gained in the Leasing & Asset Finance or Banking industry.
• Thorough understanding of the credit process with strong leasing knowledge.
• Credit approval submissions experience.
• Financial analysis expertise.
• Commercial acumen.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

We strongly favour applicants with proven, relevant experience in Financial Services; particularly in Asset Finance and Leasing.
