Dental Hygienist / Dental Therapist - Camperdown, Victoria, Australia

MBR Dental are currently assisting a dental practice located in Camperdown, Victoria, Australia to recruit a Dental Hygienist / Therapist to join their team on a fixed term or permanent basis.
• Available as soon as possible.
• Will take notice periods into consideration.
• Full time opportunity - 4+ days per week (including Saturday).
• Working days & hours to be discussed.
• You will have a working holiday visa or currently applying for a visa.
• You will be registered with AHPRA or currently registering.
• Excellent communication skills and strong ability to develop relationships.
• Willing to establish themselves in the community.
• Able to provide a high level of periodontal care to patients and take the lead in caring for young patients.
• Hourly rate of $65-$70 per hour plus superannuation (currently mandated at 10.5%).
• Subsidised local accommodation for 6 months (may be shared).
• Mentorship from existing... dentists as well as access to other OHT’s in the group.
• 3 dental surgeries equipped with digital x-ray including OPG, rotary endo, Zoom whitening and the usual equipment expected in a practice.
• The practice will consider bringing a digital scanner and Cerec machine for a suitable practitioner. There are no dental labs in town and specialists are located between 1.5 and 2.5 hour drive away.
• Camperdown itself is a lovely town of about 5,000 people located in an area close to beaches, Great Ocean Road , Otway Ranges and Warrnambool. It provides many opportunities for outdoor activities. It is about 190km west of Melbourne and only 126km from Geelong. It has a great community spirit and excellent schools. There are a number of local churches of all denominations however the nearest mosque is in Warrnambool approximately an hour’s drive away. The Great Ocean Road is only an hour’s drive away too.

All Dental Hygienists / Therapists applying for this position will be working towards their AHPRA registration and have a Visa application / approved Visa in place
