Salary: $75,000.00 to $80,000.00 CAD

The Role:

If this sounds like you, then Lug may be your perfect fit... We are looking for a Senior Graphic Designer to contribute to the Lug brand. The ideal candidate will have strong creative skills and a portfolio of work which demonstrates their passion for illustrative design and typography. They will also have experience in working with numerous different design platforms such as digital and print forms.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be covering the Art Director's responsibilities while on leave. At the end of the leave, the successful candidate will work under the supervision of the Art Director and the duties and responsibilities of the Senior Graphic Designer will include, but is not limited to, the following:
• Assist with the development of the visual tone, feel, and look of any Lug website including UX (mobile, improve UX website platform), working closely with the eCommerce department
• Generate and assist with the development of clear ideas, concepts, and storylines for the eCommerce platform including planning and executing email strategy and messages on the eCommerce platform.
• Produce mocks and roughs to visualize ideas
• Understands marketing initiatives, strategic positioning, and target audience
• Takes work from concept to final execution while being mindful of timelines and budgets
• Responsible for complying with project/campaign deadlines and budgets
• Adhere to standards for production, productivity, and quality
• Managing monthly photo shoots
• Co-manage video shoots, as needed with the Director of Marketing
• Regularly attends/leads briefs, group meetings, production meetings, and presentations where appropriate
• Work with production personnel and vendors, providing complete input, any instruction and supervision required to smoothly complete the production of approved creative
• Assist with reviewing and proofing all graphic materials on assigned projects
• Assist with creating visual identities (logos, colors, fonts) and contribute to creating and strategizing on Decks (sales and brand-related), as needed
• Assist with providing campaign summary reports on campaign success/improvements and Learnings
• Other duties as may be assigned.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field
• 5-7 years of experience in graphic design
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong communication, conceptual thinking, typography skills, and design skills
• Portfolio of work.
