Job description

Primary Purpose of the Role
• Manage the brand’s P & L and achieve all business targets (i.e., maximize sales, negotiate GP to optimize margin)
• Create, oversee, and implement merchandising strategies in... order to achieve the business targets
• Manage merchandise gross margins, sell though and inventory

Key Responsibilities
• Overseeing the planning and implementation of merchandising strategies.
• Preparing annual budgets, and presenting them to the relevant stakeholders.
• Identifying trends and monitoring supply and demand.
• Feature the right product at the right place and the right time through strategic allocation and timely replenishment
• Monitor and analyze business performance (awareness, share, consumer diagnostics, profitability, etc.) and market competition in order to create a proper action plans to achieve business goals
• Prepare regular reports outlining the brand performance and coordinate meetings to update cross-functional teams and brand principal
• Identify new business opportunities, markets and partners and develop action plans to improve business
• Develop and maintain strong relationship with brand principal, and other key business partners
• Conduct business review with both internal and external partners
• Produce competitive analysis materials periodically to compare product with its key competitors
• Tracking inventory movement and systematically introducing promotions, sales, price changes, etc.
• Collaborating with the marketing department to brainstorm new projects, campaigns, and business ideas.
• Interpreting sales reports and providing guidance on how to improve figures.
• Manage a cross functional team
• Develop staff through training and coaching
• Manage and evaluate staff performance

Knowledge and Skills Requirements
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; strategic thinking, details and results oriented. Creative and proven the ability to multi-task
• Highly organized and skilful to handle and complete multiple tasks within tight deadline
• Detail-oriented while maintaining the ability to see the big picture
• Able to travel domestically and internationally
• Excellent in follow up and documentation skill. Strong organizational and time management skills
• Have sense of urgency and self-motivation
• Work well with cross functional teams

Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor or Master Degree in Business Administration, Economics or related fields
• 3-5 years' experience in managerial position
• Direct experience in merchandising management is preferable
• Good command in English is a must
• Computer literacy - Microsoft Office Excel (Advance), Word, Powerpoint
