What you can do for us
• Collaborate with development teams to define and document test cases
• Conduct integration, system, and acceptance tests and report identified issues
• Assist development teams during integration and testing activities
• Improve test and integration processes and automate test cases
• Work with other test engineers to determine the best testing approaches
• Perform software component integration, diagnostics, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Linux systems

The skills that are needed
• A relevant degree from a university or polytechnic (preferably in computer engineering, electrical engineering, software engineering, or similar)
• Extensive experience with testing... activities such as test case design and documentation, bug reporting, and test results reporting
• Experience with various types of testing (functional / non-functional, unit / component / integration / system, frontend / backend, smoke, regression)
• Knowledge of test documentation tools such as Test Rail and Test Link
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and REST API
• Experience with programming languages such as Python, C++, and Bash
• Understanding of IT operations like setting up operating systems, virtualizations, and networks
• Basic knowledge of operating systems, network, power management, and embedded software fundamentals is a plus
• Ability to read and comprehend technical drawings, system and component design documentation, and wiring diagrams is a plus
• Experience maintaining test environments with software and hardware components is a plus
• Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) is a plus
• Clear communication skills in English, both written and oral (technical)
• Must possess the ability to live and work in Germany
