SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The Graphic Designer will assist in the development of print and digital creative solutions to support Fulgent's marketing and communications needs. This position offers an exciting opportunity to assist and influence creative direction within a fast-growing company. It is ideal for a creative mind with a background in graphic design, layout techniques, website design, and user interface and experience. The Graphic Designer should also have experience in concepting and executing marketing projects. Experience in photography and videography is a plus.

KEY JOB ELEMENTS:
• Assist and collaborate with team members in the development and execution of marketing material for the Company's website, advertising, promotional events, conferences, healthcare institution outreach, social media marketing, and public relations functions.
• Scope and prepare graphics/collateral for production according to the vendor specifications.
• QC deliverables, review drafts, troubleshoot and provide feedback to the creative team to ensure high-quality work is delivered in a timely manner.
• Ensure brand consistency across packaging and graphic design, communications material, sales collateral, and user interface and experience.
• Develop calendar/timeline for assigned projects. Regularly reports to Marketing Manager on project progress and/or challenges.
• Research marketing and promotional strategies and make recommendations for changes in media, methods, and materials, including recommendations regarding social media tools, sites, and applications.
• May assist in the coordination of and participates in trade show duties including but not limited to: Renting of conference location space, logistics for personnel and promotional materials, coordinating events surrounding the show, purchasing giveaways, and designing trade show booths.
• Report to Marketing Manager on marketing and promotions budget as required.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE:
• Proficiency with creative tools (Adobe Creative Suite- InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat).
• Proven excellence in performing and managing a range of creative duties including graphic design, implementing brand guidelines, and best practices for production.
• Strong understanding of industry trends and best practices.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project-management skills.
• Comfortable driving collaboration and navigating ambiguity in a cross-functional team environment.
• Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and complete projects on time with minimal oversight.
• 2-4 years of experience across print, web design, and social media.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or relevant field.

SKILLS:
• Strong eye for clean composition and color usage.
• Excellent writing, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Excellent project management skills.

ABILITIES:
• Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives with no supervision.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Ability to multi-task and handle deadlines.
