TheirCare are seeking a highly capable, energetic, and enthusiastic Financial Controller to partner with our internal and external stakeholders. Overseeing all financial management and reporting for TheirCare’s diverse business.

Reporting to the Group Chief Financial Officer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the finance function across reporting, accounts, payroll, accounts payable. With a key focus on governance and improvement of financial monitoring, accountability, and technical enhancement.

To be considered for this role you will have completed your studies with a major in Accounting, you will hold a CPA/CA qualification and have developed experience in a big 4 firm or scaling/scaled business with a focus on running a smooth operation of the finance function.

The Role
• Management of the... Month end closing process in a timely manner
• Collect, analyse and provide accurate and timely financial reporting for management, the Board, and the Finance Committee;
• Payroll and management of cash flow, bank accounts, bank reconciliations.
• Accounts receivable and creditor management;
• Maintenance of fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules;
• Maintaining and updating financial systems, procedures and data to ensure accurate and timely information is available
• Preparation of annual operational budgets and quarterly financial reports;
• Preparation of financial statements and reconciliations and accounts for external auditors;
• Manage audit process including quality and assurance procedures
• Contributing to business planning and development with advice, modelling, recommendations and support.

Skills And Experience
• CPA/CA
• Demonstrated experience in a financial controller/management
• Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, leadership and public relations skills
• High level attention to detail
• Highly developed time management skills and ability to effectively management multiple projects
• Familiar with MYOB advanced
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills in managing and monitoring financial systems
• High level of confidentiality, discretion and diplomacy
• Experience providing strategic financial advice and modelling
• Ability to work flexibly alone and as an integral part of a team.
