As an actuarial analyst, you help ensure profitability and balanced risk-return ratios for products and services. You also establish reserves and produce statistical models that inform decision-making and analysis of problems and business opportunities for corporate actuarial initiatives.

You analyze and help diagnose issues. You... provide opinions in accordance with the rules for your discipline and help develop recommendations and implementation plans. You develop tools, methods and processes. Your projects and initiatives require extensive knowledge of your line of work.

You share ideas and help solve problems using your analytical skills, extensive knowledge of your line of business and ability to manage complexity. You interact with stakeholders working in other fields.

You provide discipline-specific support to your unit, clients and partners.

General Information on the Position

Main Responsibilities
• Carry out actuarial analysis and initiatives, prepare reports and recommendations, and provide advice and support for recommendation implementation
• Help prepare and propose action plans to address issues in accordance with rules and parameters
• Represent your sector and interact with partners on projects and initiatives
• Design and update IT tools to support your unit’s operations
• Develop and write methods and processes.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• A minimum of two years of relevant experience
