The position
As a laboratory technician in the department of Rare Blood Disorders, you will work closely with scientist and technician colleagues to plan daily tasks and experimental activities. Your key responsibilities will be to develop, optimise and perform in vitro bioassays and methodologies, in close collaboration with experienced scientists. Including analysis of biological samples to select and characterise potential novel drug candidates, with great attention to details.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, we expect you to have:
• An education as a Laboratory Technician or equivalent.
• Experience within biochemical and functional in vitro assays in 96-well plate... format.
• Hands-on experience with blood, platelet, or plasma-based assays.
• Have excellent lab skills and can conduct high quality experiments.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.

• Have a curious mindset and a passion for troubleshooting and experimentation.

About the department
In Rare Blood Research we are fifteen experienced scientists and technicians. We are deeply involved in the discovery of innovative treatments for people living with rare diseases with high unmet medical needs. We approach therapeutic development through a detailed understanding of disease biology. The department is part of a larger area, Rare Disease Research, anchored within Global Drug Discovery in R&ED. We are based in Måløv, Denmark and work closely with other biological and technical expertise areas across Novo Nordisk's research sites.
