It is an exciting time to join the Teaching and Learning Centre with an approved Strategic Plan and work across four areas of strategic priority: Learning Enhancement, Learning Innovation, Learning Analytics and Learning Design.

We are seeking an outstanding individual to join the TLC team as a Senior Teaching and Learning Administration Officer/Teaching and Learning Administration Officer in support of research and technical aspects across a number of funded projects and/or institutional surveys.

The appointee is accountable to the Manager and Strategic Lead, Learning Analytics and will work with a team of educators and professionals on various projects to enhance teaching and learning in the University.

Responsibilities
• Provide operational support for various teaching and learning projects and/or institutional surveys, including analyzing data, carrying out research projects/activities, writing research proposals, reports and/or papers
• Provide technical support such as programming and user training
• Coordinate various project meetings, presentations and follow up work

Requirements
• A relevant degree from a tertiary institution
• Good knowledge and experience in using technology in supporting teaching and learning for higher education institution
• Working knowledge of collecting and analyzing data to identify key improvement areas in teaching and learning
• Strong statistics and analytic skills including knowledge of using software
• Excellent command of written and verbal English
• Experience in coordinating UGC-funded projects would be an advantage
• Self-motivated, responsible and attentive to details

Candidates with less/more experience will be considered for appointment at a relevant rank.

Salary and Fringe Benefits

The rank and commencing salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits, where applicable, include annual leave, medical and dental benefits, and mandatory provident fund. Appointment will normally be made on contract basis for up to one year.
