SUMMARY:

The Director of Finance will oversee all financial aspects and drive the company's financial strategy and planning towards profitability and long-term success for the Puerto Rico region. This role is responsible for assessing the financial performance as well as possible risks and investment opportunities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Drive the financial planning of the company by analyzing its performance and risks
• Retain constant awareness of the company's financial position and act to prevent problems
• Set targets for and supervise all accounting and finance personnel (management accountants, internal auditors etc.)
• Oversee all external audit and execution of internal controls
• Prepare timely and detailed reports on financial performance on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
• Conduct analysis to make forecasts and report to upper executives and Corporate
• Ensure adherence to statutory requirements and guidelines
REQUIREMENTS:
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is required
• 4-year degree (Bachelor's) in accounting, finance or relevant field is preferred; Advanced degree (Master's) is a plus but not required
• Must be bilingual Spanish & English
• 5-10+ years of proven experience in Director level finance role or similar position
• In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles and best practices
• Solid knowledge of financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
• Advanced Excel skills, proficient with MS Office and financial management software (e.g. Oracle)
• An analytical mind with a strategic ability
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities

Required Experience: 5-7 years of relevant experience

Required Travel: Negligible

Required Education: Bachelor's degree (4-year degree)
