Position: Restaurant and Catering Manager
We are hiring for a Restaurant and Catering Manager, and while we are looking for suitable candidates in the jobs market, we are also conducting performance appraisals for our employees who may be ready to take on this role.

Job Description Plans for and manages daily operations, including food delivery vendors' management, capacity management etc.

Checks and ensures compliance to company's operations standards and procedures, including providing proper food and beverage services, food and beverage safety and hygiene protocols and workplace health and safety requirements.

Works closely with Marketing and Events team for Customers' booking of premises for celebrations and occasions by providing accurate costings with decorations budget and putting up... notices to inform customers about restaurant's closure due to private events.

Work closely with Human Resource team for manpower matters which may include, recruitment, training, internship, performance appraisals, promotions, dismissal, termination and any other employees management matters (such as foreign manpower matters which may include housing, work passes validity, etc.)Works closely with main kitchen to provide feedbacks from customers about preferred food/ dishes, plans for quarterly food items promotion and new dishes creations where possible.

Performs proper costs managements, including planning for staff's duty roster to achieve high labour productivity and maintaining efficient labour strength.

Manages all suppliers, vendors and facilities, including purchases of food and equipment, and service contracts for air conditioner units, exhausts pipes, pests and rodents, and etc.

Participate weekly / monthly meetings and prepare for restaurant reports as required.

Other ad-hoc matters that may arise.


Requirements Possess 8 years of supervisory and / or managerial experience, preferably working in a restaurant that serves local / Asian cuisine.

Possess qualification that is related to food and beverage services and management.

Strong communications and relationship building skills to facilitate good working relationships and business environment. Common languages used during work includes English, Mandarin and simple Malay.

Strong motivational and team building skills to develop and maintain good working climate in restaurant.

Possess with resourcefulness capabilities, conflict management and problem solving skills.

Proficient in standard restaurant functions, such as food planning and preparation, purchasing, hygiene, personnel management and preparation of reports.

Able to work during weekends and public holidays, based on 6 work days per week and 1 day-off (during weekdays
