What we are looking for.

As an Internship R&D Engineer, you will have the unique opportunity to work on challenging projects... driving innovation at SFC KOENIG, where you can get experience in the Automotive and Hydraulics Industry and prepare yourself for a successful career. In these 6-9 months program, you will have the opportunity to work on multi-disciplinary projects within our Engineering Team, based in Dietikon, Switzerland. You will work together with our Senior Innovations Engineer, which will supervise your work and will support you through the project.

Content of the Internship
• Your main focus will be to support our Senior Innovations Engineer on key strategic innovation projects.
• You will work on the design of new product solutions, mechanical simulations based on Finite Element Analysis, 2D-drawings, prototyping, and combined systems involving mechanics and electronics.
• Getting to know our business: understand our products, their application, the market, and the innovative ideas that can have a potential breakthrough in the next generation E-mobility.

Required profile:

We are looking for a person who has
• Bachelor degree (or in the course of a Master program) in Mechanical engineering, Mechatronics engineering, or similar;
• Solid background in Mechanical Engineering tools: design creativity, CAD modelling, 2D-design.
• Good to have basic knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA);
• Willing to work with combined electronic and mechanical systems and to get hardware and software skills.
• A detail-oriented working attitude.
• Strong communicative, conceptual and analytical skills.
• Hands on mentality and perseverance.
• Good knowledge in English and German is welcome.
