Plasma/CNC Machine Operator, Dunleer, Co. Louth

Flexsource are currently recruiting Plasma/CNC Machine Operator for full time, permanent position, based in Dunleer, Co. Louth. Our client is a leading engineering solutions company with 27+ years’ experience designing & manufacturing certified products, services and solutions.

This position will be setting up, adjusting, and operating the Plasma Machine to cut raw materials steel plates, structural, misc. metal, etc. as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

· Demonstrate welding, cutting, and fabrication skills.

· Using a variety of CNC equipment and procedures

· Take and read measurements to plan the layout and procedures of many different types of projects.

· Read and interpret engineering and assembly drawings.

· Assess the process or actions needed for the job.

· Work with co-workers to complete the project in a safe and timely manner

· Maintain a safe and orderly work area

· Practice safe usage of cutting torches, plasma... cutters, and grinding equipment

· Perform all other duties as assigned.

· Display knowledge and experience in manufacturing methods and techniques

· Able to identify and troubleshoot problems in a fast-paced environment.

Candidate Skills:

· Minimum of 3 years on the job experience in a fabrication manufacturing environment

· Related experience in a CNC environment a plus.

· Good analytical and mathematical skills to interpret and read technical drawings

· Ability to read and use a variety of measuring tools.

· Strong Attention to detail

· Ability to work on own initiative

· Flexibility

Hours of Work:

· Two rotating shifts 6a.m. - 2p.m. and 2p.m. – 10p.m.

· Monday - Friday

Salary:

· €15 p/h + 12.5% Shift allowance

· Overtime Paid
