1.Ensuring that the company HSE policy is fully understood, implemented, operated and maintained
2.Verifying the implementation and operation of HSE Systems, by planning and conducting internal quality audits.
3.Reviews HSE Management System for its continual improvement of its health and safety performance.
4.Review, update and control the distribution of the Company HSE Manual and other related procedures.
5.Carry out QHSE evaluations of projects, identify problem areas and ensure all matters are discussed
6.Develop and manage annual corporate HSE objectives (SMART objectives)
7.Provides training for all personnel to ensure awareness of safety programs and policies of the company. Ensure that Roles and Responsibilities with in HSE department are clear to all.
8.Perform QHSE audits at specified intervals.
9.Ensure Environmental Aspect-Impact and Hazard Risk Assessment are carried out, controlled and updated
10.Identify, establish and monitor IMS objectives, Targets and... programs
11.Provide necessary resources for effective implementation and sustenance of IMS
12.Report IMS performance to the management periodically
13.Ensure Legal compliance with respect to their scope of activities
14.Ensure identification of root cause for the identified non conformances/ deviations and to implement corrective actions/Preventive actions
15.Identify the competency gap for their subordinate personnel and implement necessary actions.
16.Carry out annual performance evaluation of reporting employees
17.Ensure periodic medical checkups are carried out for the employees
18.Ensure participation and communication amongst various plants and personnel regarding OH&S hazards and management system and EMS
19.Verification of incident investigations and to ensure remedial actions is implemented.
20.Ensure the availability of medical facilities and medicines in the ambulance
21.Monitor performance against quality requirements
22.Build trust and confidence with management and supervision
23.Ensuring Risk Assessment / Job Hazard Analysis.
24.Develop and manage HSE yearly programs e.g. 5S, PBS, Training
25.Manages the collection and analysis of all safety data and reporting.
26.Recommends improvements to current safety programs and procedures, and coordinates with Project Staff to implement approved changes.
27.The HSE Manager is responsible for leading the safety, health and environmental activities.
28.The HSE Manager will implement and administer safety, health, and environmental management plans, policies, standards and programs at the sites to establish world-class performance in Occupational Safety & Health and Process Safety.
29.The position works collaboratively with the line managers providing guidance and counsel to help them successfully administer their responsibilities in keeping their people injury free.
30.The Manager also empowers department staff in their effort to solving problems and developing plans for improvement.
31.Participate and provide required support to corporate and site management for implementation of Corporate Risk Management Program as per the Corporate Procedure.
Participate & provide support in incident analysis, incident investigation, including process incidents etc. evaluate near miss related to the department. Conduct field verification of COCs.
32.Support the section / department for establishing and implementing the Safety KPI’s, Annual Safety Goals and Objectives. Provide safety statistics of the section / department, prepare dashboard for KPIs.
33.Provide the required support to interpret and understand the Corporate Procedure to PRC organization and field safety support staff for effective implementation of CSMS.
Prepare report on hazardous substances and process to appraise Management on audit finding and support their decision making.
34.Participate in Safety Audits, Management walk through, inspection, Special Reviews. Measure the effectiveness of implementation of field related safety procedures i.e. WP, JSA, MOC, etc.
35.Perform other miscellaneous duties as directed by the Field Safety Support Manger and Section Head.
