EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY –HEAD VET NURSE (FULL TIME OR PART-TIME) / CLINICAL COACH POSITION AT YATTON VETS, NORTH SOMERSET

Yatton Vets is looking for an all-round experienced full-time or part-time Head Veterinary Nurse to join Shaun, Ciara and their friendly, supportive team.

We opened our independent practice 6 years ago and it has been growing steadily ever since. The clinic is modern, fully equipped, with surgical and inpatient facilities on-site. We promote high clinical standards, with a progressive practice ethos focused on animal welfare & client care.

The Head RVN role, with direct support of both Directors, is a mixed role of both hands-on clinical work and admin tasks, such as rota management, VN meetings, appraisals and promoting evidence based clinical improvements. Our role will allow you to work autonomously, and with our team, to mould how we run our practice. We pride ourselves on SVN training, so this role will also involve clinical coaching of our wonderful... students.

Experience in management is ideal, however training and support will be provided for any budding Head Nurse. Interest & personal development in nurse clinics, teaching, and Schedule 3 VN procedures will be strongly encouraged.

Part-time or full-time hours (40 hours per week, sociable hours Mon-Fri), plus 1:4 Saturday morning shifts on a shared rota basis. Ad hoc overnight inpatient care on a shared rota basis. No on-call. Salary £30K+ pro rata (depending on experience) plus additional benefits.
