The Department of Economics invites applications for a vacant position as Instructor in Applied Economics.
Do you have a passion for teaching and for Economics? Then you could be the next instructor for Applied Microeconomics at CBS (Micro 101) Luigi Butera is currently looking for one TA to help with his first-year bachelor course this Fall 2023. You will teach exercise classes, help with in-class economic experiments, and supervise students.
The post of Instructor is a part-time position with independent teaching duties normally of elementary nature or teaching that supplement conduced teaching at Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or professor level.
Responsibilities
Teaching exercise classes, both in person and online
Helping with in-classroom experiments
Supervising/helping students
Studycafé
Qualifications
The applicant must either hold a Bachelor degree, have passed the first two years of a relevant Bachelor programme or have corresponding qualifications ... Emphasis is placed on the applicant’s teaching potential. The applicant have to be active in their study.
Appointment and salary
Appointment and salary is based on the Ministry of Finance agreement regarding student teaching assistents. Salary will only be paid for lessons taught, based on hours reported in LOENUA. At the moment the hourly rate is DKK 233,32 and pension at 1,78 pct..
