We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Developer Team Lead to manage a team of software developers in the design development and deployment of our software products The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and experience leading a team of developers The Developer Team Lead will be responsible for managing the team s progress ensuring that projects are delivered on time and to a high standard and providing technical guidance and support as needed Key Responsibilities Participate actively in the design of the project plan and monitors its progress and report daily the progress of allocated tasks to the manager and Project management team Conduct research for innovative technologies tools and solutions and transfers knowledge and know-how to other developers Work effectively in a team environment and liaises with other team members to get the job done and reach the best possible results Adhere to and implements the procedures policies and work instructions... as per the PeopleCert Integrated Management System Be a senior hands-on contributor and lead by example Manage a team that is geographically distributed Prioritize and manage workload Conduct code reviews and ensure that coding standards are followed Ensure their work and presence are aligned with the company s values Quality - Passion - Integrity Innovation at all times Identify and mitigate risks that could impact project success University Degree in Informatics Technology or a relevant field, Postgraduate Degree will be considered a plus. Minimum of 9 years experience as a software developer. 3+ years of experience leading a team of software developers. Experience with Agile development methodologies. Strong technical skills in programming languages such asBack-end:PHP, MYSQL, HTML, CSS, Sass JavaScriptFront-end:HTML, CSS, Sass JavaScript, jQuery, Typescript, Angular 11 Ionic 5, Cordova Ability to work in a team under guidelines, using agile software development (SCRUM). An excellent SQL & Database Knowledge. Use Case Analysis / Technical Specification. Excellent Design & Architecture Concepts. Very Good in Security Code Reviews. Excellent command of the English language. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Understanding market trends and customer needs to drive innovation and stay competitive in the business landscape. Strong understanding of business operations and the ability to align software development goals with business objectives. Proven track record of delivering business value through technology solutions. Ability to identify and translate business needs into technical requirements for successful project delivery
