Building Foreman - Stellenbosch Qualifications and Experience:-Minimum of 10 years experience as a building foreman , preferably with experience on residential apartment developments.-Matric (Grade 12) is a minimum requirement.-Additional technical qualifications will be an advantage.-Only foreman with extensive building experience should apply , applicants with a civil engineering background would not be suitable.Responsibilities:-Report to site manager and work closely with other site staff.-Manage sub-contractors, including scheduling and overseeing work.-Manage junior foremen... and laborers on the construction site.-Ensure project production goals are met within the specified time frame.-Ensure quality control standards are maintained.-Communicate regularly to site management and stakeholders regarding the progress of work.-Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols.Skills and Abilities:-Strong team leadership skills.-Solid understanding of the construction process and building codes.-Good communication and interpersonal skills.-Ability to read blueprints and interpret construction plans.-Strong problem-solving skills to quickly and effectively tackle unexpected issues.Our client requires a foreman with a stable track record.
