We are on a mission to rapidly expand our team to support our evolving client base. Our firm, located in Scarborough, is led by our five lawyers services well over a thousand clients annually. We Immigration Lawyer to lead our Immigration Practice and support other members of our immigration team.

Our ideal candidate is a highly competent entrepreneurial immigration lawyer seeking to leverage the brand and infrastructure of an established law firm.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
• Provide comprehensive legal advice and representation to clients with a focus on Visitor Visas, Study Permits, Work Visas, Family Sponsorships, Business Immigration, and Permanent Residency
• Lead business development activities, including... building relationships with communities, attending industry events, networking with potential clients, partnering with or setting up satellite offices
• Manage a diverse caseload, working closely with clients to assess their needs, develop tailored strategies, and represent them effectively in the application process
• Lead and mentor junior immigration lawyers and support staff, providing guidance and direction on complex cases and fostering a collaborative work environment
• Contribute to the firm's overall growth and success by working collaboratively with the real estate practice, identifying opportunities for cross-practice collaboration and client referrals
• Represent clients before the Immigration and Refugee Board, Federal Court, and other relevant agencies or tribunals, as required
• Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, colleagues, and government officials

WHO YOU ARE:
• You share our values: client trust obsessed, possesses an ownership mindset, not afraid to disagree internally, committed to the team and insist on the highest standards
• Licensed lawyer and in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in immigration law, with a proven track record of success
• Possess an entrepreneurial mindset with experience in business development and promoting legal services
• Strong knowledge of Canadian immigration law, policy, and procedures
• Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and government officials
• Commitment to providing exceptional client service and maintaining the highest professional and ethical standards

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $70,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
