Job Profile

Graduate Electrical Engineer required. Our client is a well-estabilished and progressive specialist manufacturer based in the Marchwood, Southampton area. Due to the ongoing success and growth of the business they are seeking an Engineering graduate to join the team.

The succesful candidate will undertake a 1-2 year programme consisting of staged training in all operational aspects of the company, from production, through to design with a view to becoming a Design Engineer.

Graduate Electrical Engineer Position Overview

The Training Programme Will Consist Of
• Manufacturing and workshop practices: Working within a variety of departments to include material control, production assembly, production planning and purchasing.
• Technical practices: Learning technical practices with live projects, including tasks relating to research and development.
• Engineering projects: Working with other project engineers on electro-mechanical projects, including drawing office... practices, bill of materials, cost analysis, product testing and documentation.

Graduate Electrical Engineer Position Requirements
• Degree qualified in a Mechatronics, Electrical / Electronic engineering field
• Experience with AutoCAD or similar
• Knowledge of PLC programming is desirable
• Strong communication skills
• Full UK Driving License

Graduate Electrical Engineer Position Remuneration
• Salary £22,000 - £28,000 - Dependent upon experience
• Monday - Thursday, 08:00 - 16:45. Friday 08:00 - 13:00.
• 33 Days Holiday, including Bank Holidays
• Death ins Service 2X Annual Salary
• Company Pension Scheme
