The Role

We are seeking an ambitious and highly motivated Audit Supervisor to assist in leading the Audit team, ensure all client... requirements are met, and further develop the department to greater success.

Duties And Responsibilities
• Perform Audits of financial statements of different entities operating in various industries.
• Complete audit procedures to obtain sufficient appropriate audit evidence in accordance with ISAs.
• Responsible for ensuring that all audits are carried out in a timely manner and according to deadlines, audit plan and budgets.
• Apply auditing standards through practical application.
• Resolving client inquiries and any matters related to Audit.
• Hold meetings with clients to discuss Audit status and findings.
• Fully support Audit Directors and Audit Managers in day-to-day activities.
• Train, coach and mentor junior staff.
• Continuously build and maintain effective working relationships with Audit clients.
• Keep abreast of developments in accounting and auditing standards.
• Review of working papers prepared by junior staff.
• Directing and leading teams, reporting directly to the Audit managers and Audit Directors.

Required Skills And Attributes
• Possess a solid level of technical expertise in Audit, as well as other areas within accounting, finance, & technology.
• Highly knowledgeable in IFRSs, GAPSME and ISAs.
• Working knowledge of Tax and VAT.
• Excellent communication skills with a high level of fluency in English, written and verbal.
• Advanced working knowledge of MS Excel software.
• Experience using SAGE and XERO accounting software packages would be an asset.
• Strong team player.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Good problem solving and motivational abilities.

Academic And Experience
• In the final stages of acquiring the ACCA qualification or holding an Accounting / Finance Degree.
• At least 3 years’ experience in an Audit focused role, ideally at Senior level.
