Full time Architect / Archtectural Technician / Technologist
An exciting opportunity for a permanent, full time Architect / Architectural Technician / Technologist to join our Architectural Practice and assist with growing workload. A small CIAT Chartered practice, established in 2018 which operates throughout the Southeast. Projects are predominantly within the private residential sector. We are based in Thaxted, Essex and the role will be hybrid, working 3 days a week in the office and 2 days from home.

Having your own means of travel to and from the office is essential.

Requirements:

- Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a similar role including the production of planning drawings and technical detailed drawings for residential projects.
- Recognised Architectural qualification / degree
- Proficiency in AutoCAD essential (Revit desirable but not essential).
- Knowledge of the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF) and local planning... policy/design guides.
- Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations and building construction detailing experience.
- Motivated, proactive, organised and able to work independently.
- Positive working attitude with strong communication skills
- Possess the ability to work collaboratively and support other members of staff
The successful candidate will be reporting to the Director and on a daily basis will be carrying out the following (alongside other team members):
- Actioning Measured Surveys
- Attending client meetings and site visits
- Production of planning and building regulations drawings
- Production of CGIs/streetscenes/visuals
- Production of Design Access and Heritage Statements
