JOB - Junior Electrical Design Engineer

LOCATION - Worcester

TERM - Permanent

SALARY - £28,000 - £35,000

My client is working on an exciting opportunity to bring on a Junior Electrical Design Engineer on a permanent basis in Worcester. This opportunity is for someone who is looking to join a dynamic team who specialise in designing automated machinery within a number of different industries like aerospace and medical.

The Junior Electrical Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
• Knowledge/Experience of Electrical Engineering
• Engineering Qualification (BEng, MEng, BSc in Electrical Engineering or similar
• Electrical CAD software - EPLAN or AutoCAD Electrical
• A good understanding of electrical engineering associated with capital equipment
• Ability to design products from initial concept through to manufacture.
• Apply sound engineering skills to assist with the development and advancement of the current range of machinery.

The Junior Electrical Design... Engineer Duties Involve
• Executing the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound electrical engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product/program requirements. This work would include electrical engineering for all products
• Delivering products as part of a cross-functional, multidisciplinary team.
• Working closely with Control System Engineer and Mechanical Design Engineers to ensure thorough functionality and successful machine build.
• Specifies needs, communicates about project approach and presents outcomes of research done
• Determination of user needs and product requirement specifications
• Using existing designs/electrical schematics and BOM's to develop the company's range of machinery including turn-key installations
