Senior Mechanical Design Engineer – Clerkenwell - up to 55k

I am currently working alongside a sustainability and low carbon focused MEP consultancy in the Clerkenwell area who are looking to appoint a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to their vibrant office to work on and lead the mechanical design of multiple projects within the Hotel & Resort, Commercial and Residential markets both in the UK and overseas.

In this role as a Senior Engineer you will be mainly tasked with the delivery of projects whilst managing internal designs, mentoring and line management duties to junior engineers, being involved in resource planning for you projects, attending meetings with internal and external parties, optimising business developments chances with existing clients and potential new leads as you see fit and have an overall good commercial awareness.

As a Senior Engineer you will need to be able to demonstrate a proven track record of leading projects from inception to completion, have good... technical competence in Mechanical Design as well as a good understanding of Electrical Systems and other areas like BMS. Experience of Low Carbon Design is an advantage but a good understanding of this is a must.
