About the job
The ideal candidate will have a 4+ year background in digital media that includes strategy development, planning, buying, technical implementation, and campaign stewardship with direct media partnerships and with programmatic buying. They bring creativity and innovation to their work. They have experience in the US market, buying across channels that include Display, Video, Mobile, Google, and Social Media Platforms. They are very knowledgeable about all Google & Facebook ad campaigns.
The candidate is a proven leader, capable of creating and articulating a vision and rallying internal and external partners around it. They have a perspective on where the industry is going, informed by years of experience within it. They lead by example and always do the right thing when interacting with employees, clients, and media partners
Responsibilities-
• Collaborate directly with the Business Development and marketing team to create and run Facebook/Instagram, YouTube, and... TikTok performance marketing initiatives
• Manage and optimize ad campaigns to generate high-quality leads in the Financial & Home improvement verticals. Own the strategy, media planning, optimizing, and reporting of various campaigns
• Generate quantitative evaluation and models to optimize campaign performance
• Develop, maintain, evaluate, and communicate detailed reporting of campaigns
• Work with front end development team to build landing pages and ad units
• Run A/B tests on landing pages, creative, messaging, and user experiences, Perform competitive research
• Make hands-on bid updates to meet and exceed KPI and CPL target
• Be quick and comfortable making last-minute adjustments, as needed
Senior Media Buyer Requirements:
• 4+ years’ experience in a media buying role
• Proven experience as a Media Buyer; experience in digital media preferred
• BA/BS degree from a 3-year university
• Strong mathematical and systematic skills coupled with strong marketing insight and a creative mindset
• Experience with Facebook Ad lead generation for insurance and/or financial services
• Experience with Display and/or Native ad networks such as Google Display Network, Yahoo Gemini, and/or Taboola
• Ability to strategize, evaluate and optimize around data
• Proficiency in Excel
• Excellent communication skills (written + verbal)
• History of working with large monthly/daily spend (eg. $50K/$5K and up)
• Familiarity with media-buying, planning, and research
