Job description

Job Descriptions (in brief)
• To act as interpreter in demonstration or practical classes and/or special events.
•... Act as main point of contact and liaison between instructors and internal and external people.
• To translate documents from English into Thai and vice versa.
• Researching terminology to ensure the correct and accurate translation is used.
• Coordinate with Program Manager to learn and understand the curriculum.
• Assist with Student Affairs and Academic Services Manager for the translation of online learning content.
• Be in charge of LMS for responsible course.
• Assist in developing and translating the recipes, handbook, textbooks, factsheet, necessary documents for the responsible course.
• Support with the voice-over production of our educational videos/presentations dedicated to our School online learning platform.
• Assist Instructor during demo presentation by facilitating diaporama sequencing and control of video equipment (set-up done by AV technician).
• Coordinate with other translators for organizing time schedule.
• Summarize the working-hours of part-time translator and submit for payment
• Closely monitors part-time translator’s work standards, advising them on their roles and duties.
Qualifications
• Minimum education of bachelor’s degree preferably majoring in arts or English language.
• Highly competent in English (preferably IELTS of 7 or higher) and Thai languages.
• At least one year of translation experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skill.
• Have excellent English communication skills both in written and spoken.
• Very proper and pleasant personality.
• Flexibility, since class hours may vary and include weekends, evenings and holidays
• Have passion in cooking/culinary.
